Context
Ordina is a service provider specializing in Consulting and ICT. The company designs, builds, and manages solutions for business process automation and ICT. However, Ordina faced challenges with managing its marketing-related data due to a lack of centralized oversight across the more than 20 different tools used for data collection. This fragmentation hindered data-driven decision-making.
Objective
Ordina partnered with Student Consultant to develop a comprehensive marketing dashboard. The goal of this project was to provide a clear view of Ordina’s marketing performance and enable data-driven decision-making.
Solution
Student Consultant began by identifying the key components and KPIs critical to Ordina’s marketing strategy, which needed to be included in the dashboard. This was achieved through interviews, desk research, and internal suggestions. The results were discussed with various stakeholders, leading to the creation of a prototype dashboard accompanied by an advisory report. The prototype, a static dashboard, incorporated all relevant KPIs based on the research findings. The advisory report detailed the rationale behind the choices made for the prototype.
Following Ordina's feedback on the advisory report and prototype dashboard, Student Consultant proceeded to develop the final dashboard. The team selected PowerBI as the most suitable software for this purpose, and then began the process of data collection and integration with PowerBI. The final product was a dynamic marketing dashboard, supported by a handover report that explained the insights provided by the dashboard, the rationale behind the information presented, and instructions on how to use and modify the dashboard.
