My tenure at Student Consultant marked a pivotal moment in my exploration of the business world. The responsibility entrusted by clients and the tasks undertaken provided a robust foundation for my subsequent career. The profound learning experiences gained during my time at Student Consultant have afforded me a significant advantage in my current professional role.

Throughout my 1.5 years with Student Consultant, I engaged in a single, comprehensive project. While I had the opportunity to participate in multiple projects, my assignment at Maandag offered a rich variety of tasks and considerable responsibility. At Maandag, I was tasked with advancing the implementation of new software, analyzing and optimizing business processes, conducting one-on-one meetings, investigating aspects within Wikis, and presenting my findings.

In addition to my external project at Maandag, I was also able to further develop internally at Student Consultant. Initially starting within the HR department, I later took on responsibilities for conducting interviews, which enhanced my soft skills. This experience included providing advice and managing both enjoyable and challenging phone calls.

Now, as a graduate and Implementation Consultant, I find that the skills honed at Student Consultant are invaluable. Handling difficult client conversations and understanding nuanced interactions are areas where my previous experiences, such as those from meetings at Maandag and navigating less pleasant phone calls, have proven beneficial. I have a more profound understanding of company operations, decision-making processes, the impact of project sprints, and handling project setbacks—insights that were cultivated during my tenure at Student Consultant.

Looking ahead, I will continue my journey as an Information Management Consultant, carrying forward the lessons and experiences gained from my time at Student Consultant into my future career endeavors.
