Alumni - Lars van Werde
During my studies, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience at Student Consultant, working on projects for companies such as Ordina and APG alongside a group of ambitious students.
When I joined Student Consultant during the COVID-19 pandemic, the team was still small, consisting of just seven consultants. The focus was primarily on securing new projects. Over the 2.5 years I worked there, the team grew significantly to over 75 consultants, actively engaged in various projects across the Netherlands.
As a project manager, I had the privilege of leading several projects, which allowed me to develop not only my analytical skills but also my strategic thinking abilities. Additionally, I contributed to the expansion of Student Consultant into the Randstad region while pursuing my Master’s in Finance & Investments at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
For the past six months, I have been working as an M&A Analyst at Oaklins. In this role, I focus on advising and analyzing mergers and acquisitions, and I assist with valuations, negotiations, and the execution of transactions.
